New to this site. I live in Palo, Iowa(small town of 900). I just got the city council to rewrite the ordiance to allow 4 backyard hens. The ordiance passed on May 24th and we had our new girls in their chicken tractor on the 27th. Even made the front page of the newspaper. We have 2 bigger towns around us that are trying to get the same thing passed with no such luck. Loving every minute of the chicks! Hope more cities will allow chickens despite all the nay sayers!! Welcome and great job with city hall. Love your coop and chickens. You've got one red pullet there that looks as though she's found a secret stash of steroids
