I have since added 3 more babies to my flock- Coco who is a Barred Plymoth Rock, and 2 more Black Australorps. We haven't done another photo shoot just yet! I love my chicks! They are all now about 3 weeks and such a joy. My kids adore each of them.

My little sister helped me position them. Thankfully they were all about a day old and would just stand still b/c I think they were cold. lol.. I had 3 other chicks I had taken pictures of but gave them to a friend so she could start her chicken adventure.. I went back yesterday to farm supply and bought 3 more.

Cookie and Tigris are Americanas, Nilla and Sally are silkies, and Oreo and Cherry are Black Australorps.

I had a little silkie hatch the other day, half silkie, half polish. He is so odd, and I love it about him. So he has an extra toe on only one foot, and on the other, he has fuzz creeping down his leg. Normally, all of my other chicks that I hatched out of my silkies croosed polish look just like a normal silkie baby, fuzz on both legs and an extra toe on each foot. But Stormy is just so different!

THat is really neat that you cross breed.. I had no idea you could do that. They are lots of fun indeed!
