I think sometimes I want a milk cow but after milking milking goats twice a day every day I think I'll stick to the goats. LOL But I would LOVE some raw cow's milk. It is illegal to sell it in Va, though.

Have fun raising them. Make sure your fences are all to notch before you turn them out! I have photos of my oldest DD chasing a calf she had on a halter that got away from her. She was little at the time and it was halarious!

I would love to have milk cows. Sadley, these are boys. My DH has named them T Bone and Sir Loin!!!! I can't even think about that right now as I am bottle feeding them!!!!!!!!! Suddenly I am becoming a vegetarian!!!!!!

Awww they are darling!!! How old are they?

A friend of the family works on a ranch a couple of hours away - and he was telling me they're getting ready for calfs..... we started talking about them and I asked what they do with the little babies the moms don't want or are lost or whatever..... very sad ending - I told him to BRING them to me I'd bottle feed them!!!! But I think its just too much trouble for those LARGE operations.

Awww, I would love to touch those little wet noses!!

They are about 8 weeks old. They are both very sweet. They MMOOOO very loud when they see me!!!!!! ( I will have a very hard time eating hamberger now)
