Meeting each other

Josie my 1 month old light Brahma has decided to check out what is in the bin.
I hatched these 5 little ones over the weekend so they are less than a week old

Josie hasn't paid attention to them until yesterday

They are all bantam and Josie is standard.
They were a little nervous when she jumped in and I didn't know how Josie would be.

Well it went pretty darn well she looked at them no aggressive pecking and those tiny little balls of fluff went up to her pecked her in the beak tried to jump up grab her tail.
My littlest ones who is the bravest my Easter egger and little yellow one walked over and ate with her

So that is good because they will have to meet my existing flock in a few weeks and they will have large Josie to be with

They look a little nervous in this pic. But they did well

Glad to hear it went well. It's always stressful introducing especially so young. Hopefully they'll have the same luck with the others.
