Member introduction being commented on 10 years later...

I have seen several member introductions that people are commenting on 10 years later when the person has not been on BYC since the introduction.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Is there a way to delete member introductions after a period of time so we are only seeing new ones?

This topic head been discussed before. Sometimes the responder does not notice the post date.
Other times, the OP resurrects their own intro thread for fun.
Just don't reply when you see them!
