Members With the Most Posts Counts

These counts are not updating every day. Are they supposed to?

The counts showing today, are the same counts as yesterday.

They are supposed to update after each post, but sometimes the system takes a few hours to catch up. This post should be 34967.

Sorry should have been clearer: I'm talking about the site stats.

If you look at the stats for number of posts for the Last Day, those are the same counts as the day before.

For example, the stats show me as #10 with 49 posts. Yesterday I was chatty and ran up over 100 posts but the site stats still show the same as the day before, 49 (the same 10 members listed for today are the same as the ones yesterday with the same post counts). I understand things like the Games/Jokes forum posts don't count but I don't post anything there.

Does that make sense?

Yeah, that makes sense... I was stuck on stupid, blame it on no caffeine, lol. I do think it's supposed to update daily, that's what I've noticed in the past.

I don't know why this bugs me but it does. If they weren't important enough to update daily, why have them posted to see at all?

That I'm not sure of, time zones could play a part too.

I know this is a bit anal (is that word ok?) but I write down my post count at the beginning and end of every day. I throw a fudge factor in there to account for zones and whatnot but I know 49 is no where close to the 111 posts I did yesterday (even accounting for start times, time zones, etc.). The difference between my start count of 12,878 and end count of 12,989 = 111

This isn't even the first time this has happened, that's another reason it's bugging me.
