I didn't see anything for Menomonie or Dunn County in the Learning area of the site... Does anyone live there who could answer a couple questions for me? I see that they do allow chickens, but it seems like they don't want to... because the rules are kinda ridiculous. Limit five chickens. Submit plans for a building permit, list your contractor, inspection... for four or five birds? Seriously? I see people tacking two sheets of plywood into an a-frame to house a dozen birds, and they want me to hire a contractor for less than half a dozen? Are they actually going to come out and count my birds to make sure I have four and not six? Am I allowed to use the corner of my garage, or do I have to BUILD an entire, free-standing coop (sorry, no, have one built by a professional contractor)?
