Last month one of my favs started limping and it got pretty severe to where she just kept herself away from everyone else. I isolated her then two of my other chickens showed slight limps but managing to forage as usual. All have been vaccinated for Mercks disease. After a month the chicken with the severe limp is getting better. The other two shows no sign of the disease. Question is can they recover from this even partially?

I'd be sure they are on a good layer or all-flock feed with very little corn/scratch so they get more nutrients from their feed. I'd also put Poultry Cell vitamins in their water every other day for a couple of weeks and see if this helps.

Good luck!

I have a 5 month old hen who was limping. The next morning, one leg was stretched out behind her. Both legs have curled toes.
She has feeling in the legs, as she wraps her toes trying to clutch my fingers.
I have her isolated in a pet carrier in my house. In feeding tuna & pellet food. I’m giving her rooster booster by syringe, 3ml a day. I have it also mixed in her water.
She has a great appetite, but the problem with that, is her lying in her poop!
She was vaccinated for Merricks disease at the hatchery.
What else can I do for her?
