Messed up feet?

I have a chick that's three days old that still can't straighten it's feet. It walks on the sides of it's feet. It can't even open it's feet completely up, let alone straighten them or walk on them. Will the chicken outgrow this? Is it a somewhat common condition? He or she just hops around instead of walking, so it seems to be compensating pretty well, but I'm still concerned about it.

It wont correct by it's self. You can try fixing it by placing cardboard cutouts on the bottom of it's feet and taping his toes down so that they can straighten up. Good luck. The sooner the better.

i taped a peacock feet with duck tape and it worked on one foot great but the second one was still a little crooked. it did alow it to walk you have to use warm water to get the tape off
