This is my mom’s sapphire splash pullet. She is 13-14 weeks old. She has had an ongoing poopy butt problem once she moved outside at 8 weeks (did have some pasty butt her first week). There are probiotics in her water, but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. She has to be cleaned every couple of days. She doesn’t have tail feathers and never has, but should. She also doesn’t back up and squat when pooping like the other girls do. Ideas?

What do you feed your flock? Is this chicken getting any extra protein from a different source? Like cat food, while your other chickens don't?
I would discontinue the additives like pro-biotics, for a duration of time, and see if that may be a possible cause..
WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :highfive:

They are on 16% grower crumbles. They also get greens from weeds, grass, lettuce, kale, Swiss chard, etc. The probiotics are a new add in hopes that they would help clear her up. The rest of the flock (14 others) are doing well. She is the only one having issues.
