Metal coop and roof insulation questions

Pat, thank you so much, because dh was on his way to go the foam insulation and the adhesive and I telephoned the store and he put that one adhesive back and got another one.

I am so excited, I got my dropping boards up, new nesting boxes, sand in my run and now my vents and foam insulation. Oh YEAH!!!!

This is mostly true. Rigid foamboard is moisture resistant and, in certain applications, can be used without a vapor barrier. But it must be an application where there are no cracks, or unfilled seams, and where there is no penetration by nails, metal studs, or other things that will transfer heat. It also should be an application without high humidity. But - moisture will affect the insulation value, just less than many other types until it is actually saturated.

Foamboard without a vapor barrier may be fine, but I'd still suggest adding one just to be certain.
