Well I just bought a metal shed 10by12. Just like the one you can buy at lowes. Just got the outside painted. Going to fix nest boxes and roost later on this week. My ? is ventilation because of heat and weather. So if you have seen or have one like this please give your input. Or if not your reply is greatly appreciated. I was planning on mounting a fan on the back wall and hooking up a tstate so it will come on around 85 or so. it is in the shade. And the doors on front will always be open for plenty of vent. Were I plan on mounting the fan It will have opening for a cross breeze or do you think that with the doors open it will be ok with out it?

I raised white leghorns in a metal shed just like this in the desert of So Cal. It will work just fine. You can cut a hole in two sides for ventilation or even use a hole saw and put a bunch of holes at the peak of the outside walls. Also, you may want to consider leaving one of the big front doors open when it is hot in summer months. It will work. Just add vents for air circulation. You can do this so that it looks nice as well. Take your time.

Thank you so much.. I was just worried about heat. I will place 1inch holes around the whole top. Also both doors will be open all times because they are in a 20by100 ft run with the shed in it. Thanks you gave me what I need ....
