Even after a good washing, even after soaking in a little bleach. It will be ok for a day after the good cleaning, but then just stinks. (It never was like that at the beginning) I stopped using it and want to get a new waterer.
What should I get?

I have both a metal and plastic waterer and they both stink after a day or two, unless I put apple cider vinegar in the water.

I use a plastic waterer. Every night when I lock my chickens in their coop I wash/rinse the waterer using a drop of dish detergent and a small brush. Only takes a minute. I let it dry overnight and refill and put it out the next morning. I don't have any odor problem.
