Metal Waterer that Won't Rust?

Hi!

We've been using galvanized steel waterers paired with a heating stand, and they keep rusting (quickly). Does anyone have suggestions for a metal waterer that will not rust? We have tried the Harris Farms brand. We use plastic in the warmer months but do not want to put plastic on the heater.

Just about anything will rust.

Have you thought about using a heated dog water bowl? Those are usually stainless steel or a hard plastic.

My heated waterers are plastic, and I’ve used them for several winters.
This heated dog bowl costs around $20. They come in several sizes. I have this one and I have a 1 quart size for my bantam flock.

And I have this type of nipple waterer and they cost around $50

I clean the open waterers every day, putting in fresh water. The nipple waterers rarely need cleaning.
