big winter storm warnings in St. Louis since yesterday. this morning, my 2.5 month pullets wouldn't leave their coop into their cage (Chicken tractor) despite same temperature, wind, light and lack of precipitation as yesterday and they come out at daybreak every day since I've allowed them! at 10a the winter mix began..

We've got a foot of snow over here in Kansas City...

This is my Coop...

Great coop! guess yours feel more sheltered with the cover over the cage!

I'm experiencing the same snow storm here in SW Missouri and my ducks love it!! They wouldn't go in their coop and continued playing in the ice.

Snow is just tapering off here in my part of Kansas - maybe 10-12" After our last snow (only 4") they didn't come out of the coop for 2 days. So I didn't even open the door to let them out today. Just moved their food and water inside - they seem to like that idea.

This is amazing! What are your covers made out of?
They are reinforced clear tarps. I got them on sale from a site called Tarpaflex.com last fall.

The 10'X20' which covers most of the top, back and north end, was only $20 at the time. The two 5'x7' tarps that wrap the front and overlap the top were something like $12 each, with shipping I got all 3 for less than $70 bucks. Love them. Got some clear acrylic sheets (from some old poster frames) to cover the door.
