Does anyone have any experience with ordering hatching eggs from Metzers? Do they ship on a certain day or the day you place the order? I ordered some White Layer eggs and it shows the shipping date on my order for today (Jan 20 Sat) but the confirmation email says Tuesday through Friday. Just confused, thanks.

Have you tried calling them to ask for clarification?

They might be waiting for a certain breed that you ordered to finish hatching, and that's the uncertainty in the date. When I ordered from Murray McMurray hatchery it was the same way and we just tracked them in called in each day to see when they would get here. =)

Oh, I just realized you ordered eggs instead of chicks. I would call and see if you could get some clarification on the date.

Thanks everyone. Eggs ship Tuesdays from Metzers and I got them on Thursday from Cali to Ohio. They gave me 1 free egg and only one egg has a slightly detached air cell. Letting them rest before setting.
