So I live in Florida and my 20 mixed eggs came in this box with what looked like really good packaging limiting any damage since the eggs came all the way from California!
I got the eggs last week Friday - let them set for a day pointy side down then set them Sat am! I just candled them and all 20 of them appear to be veining so far

Those are some pretty good results for such a lengthy travel. Pretty excited if all 20 continue to develop! I wasnt sure about ordering eggs over the internet but this is pretty awesome results so far! Yes I fully realize I shouldnt count my ducks before they hatch

better results than me

still waiting for the postman to bring my duck eggs which i ordered last friday

I haven't tried to hatch any chicks or ducks of my own yet, but my brooders are hopping with chicks & ducks both. My kids are currently watching a game of "chicken football" in the chick brooder as they toss in 1 meal worm at a time. I'm trying not to fall off my bed laughing watching them...lol My ducks don't seem to care for the meal worms at this point. Only my little blue swedish even took an interest in them.

Maybe I'll try hatching some next year if I can locate an inexpensive incubator.

I am in the Tampa / Polk area. I just candled again and all 20 are still developing! I will wait to candle again till next weekend! Super excited I love my incubator!

Here is the picture. I have pulled all the eggs up out of the foam to sit on top of the foam. They were tucked midway down the foam and an egg crate was on top and underneath. It was a very dense soft foam! I think it is truly amazing to ship from CA to FL and have 20 eggs still developing at day 14. I only let them rest 1 full day as well.
