In the Brooder
Our six hen chicken family was started as pullets in early August 2020. We live in Guanajuato Mexico. Guanajuato is at an elevation of 6600 feet so the temperature is always comfortable. Today is week 20 and we opened up the two nesting boxes and added a couple of wooden eggs from Lee Valley. Backyard chickens was hugely helpful in our planning of the coop and run, especially on how build it against predators. The second biggest help was a friend who advised the first thing we do is get a livestock vet.
