Meyer brown layer assortment

Hi all.
I ordered the brown layer assortment from Meyer and curious about the one I circled in red. Anyone know the breed? Thanks for the help.

There's a bunch that chic could be... what type of comb does it have?
My guesses, based on their website, and their chick identifier:
Buckeye (if its a pea comb), RiR, or NHR.

Probably a RIR or a NHR or a PR.

Yes I thought as day old chick they were NHR or RIR. But the wing feathers coming in throw me off. Seem wrong for a NHR or RIR, but I don't have experience with many breeds as chicks.
It is a straight comb.

Anyone know if it is a Welsummer chick?

Wrong pattern for a Welsummer. Its something red, Production Red most likely or maybe a Rhode Island Red.

I would agree. A red layer breed.

I have thought about ordering that assortment.
How many breeds do you figure you got?

Quite a bit of different breeds. I ordered the 15 and probably received 4-5 different breeds. Seems like 2 or 3 per breed. Golden buff, RIR/NH and BR/Dom. The black ones are hard to figure out if they are different or not. I will mention I ordered 22 birds 15 assort, 3 SLW, 3 Gold Cuckoo Marans, and the meal maker. They only shipped 21 birds. I had 8 die in the first 48 hrs and they refunded them, no hassle. I had two more succumb to pasty butt on Day 7, but that is a little more my fault for not keeping them checking. This is my 3rd round of baby chicks, one set from feed store and one from my incubator. None of those died on me. So to lose 10 was rough. I syringe feed them Nutri Drench and water but none made it.
