Anyone that has ordered black copper marans from Meyer Hatchery able to verify how dark the eggs are? I saw some people post that Murray McMurray fbcm have nice dark eggs when considering hatchery stock. I have one from Cackle and we get darker eggs, but nothing to get excited about. I see Meyer has some chicks available for the same date I already have chicks coming on and I was going to have them add one on if anyone has experience with their fbcm and they have darker eggs than I am getting currently.
