That is completely what I think based on behavior. Brownie is ALWAYS on alert & "herds" Coco to safety. Coco is very submissive. I do have a back-up home for Brownie if he, in fact, turns out to be a roo. The 10 yo girl that lives there is going to LOVE wagging him around
Help guys! my EE pullet is very aggressive. She is only 5 or 6 weeks old but chases the other girls and my cochin roo. She won't let me catch her and pecks at me if I try. What do I do? I have 2 young kids and aggressive birds have no place in my coop.

Jed/Jem is a RIR, not a GB. I posted her photo because I am wondering if she is about to lay her first egg and I wanted everyone else's opinion. Sorry for the confusion. For the longest time I thought she was a rooster, but, lately have realized that she is more likely an early maturing hen.

That is an impressive tail on #1! Love the smoky grays on both!Here are my 2 Olive Egger's from Meyer's. They were hatched April 1st. So about 12 or 13 weeks old. #1
