Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

I have an all white EE, too. Even my husband thinks she is beautiful! Don't tell the others, but, she is starting to be my favorite. ;)

At 14 weeks, you might not be far from eggs! I now have 4 layers! Jessica, another GB, started laying the day after Patty at 16.5 weeks. Melissa the Dominique laid her first cream colored egg, today. She will be 18 weeks tomorrow. Belle, the EE, has been laying for 6 weeks now. Of course, she is older than the rest. Boo, the white one, hasn't laid yet and she is at least 23 weeks old.

I love the different colored eggs!

oh here I was beginning to be all sad about the girls not laying as I have been told by several don't expect before 6 months. I also have noticed some burrow pits as I call them in the coop, where someone is really taking the time to make out a nest in the straw in the coop at night. Guess we better put the nest boxes back in, we had them out while we transitioned them to outside so they would all return to the coop at night. Read that somewhere. Funny how we all try hard not to play favorites, but it seems inevitable. You all white EE looks like like Isis! Cool

Hola Meyer fellow Meyer folks! So new to chicken raising, but bf has raised before. We ordered 25 rainbow pack from Meyer and received April 15th, based on the 25 we ordered that were part of the pack, we believe we have two RR roo's. We also ordered 2 buff orph roosters based on reviews. We definitely have some mystery chicks, 4-5 black goldish girls. I have been told they might be Cornish and maybe a Barnevelder. I believe we have the following breeds, Barred Rock, Welsummer, Easter Eggers, Buff orph, Rhode Island Red, Delware and ?. Any idea?

Picture #1 EE
#2 dark Cornish
#3 left to right - BO, RIR cockeral ,EE
#4 dark Cornish
#5 EE, RIR cockeral, dark CornishCornish
#6 EE
#7&#8 dark Cornish
#9 welsummer
#10 dark Cornish
#11 & #12 possibly barnevelder (has to have single comb)
#13 dark Cornish? (Has to have pea comb)
#14 EEs
#15 RIR too (can see saddle feathers coming in)

I don't see any gold laced Wyandotte's, they are mostly dark Cornish with maybe a barnevelder or two depending on the combs.

Yes, with only 6 coming in a few weeks hopefully I can do that!! I'll keep you posted
I loved snuggling with all our chicks. One thing you might want to be careful of is letting them on your shoulder. Its fun and sweet when they are little but now I have scratches all over my chest and upper arms because one of them never stopped climbing on me ;)

Great pics everyone!

Thanks, I will attempt to get some better pictures of all the blackish ones. Yes the suspected Barnevelder does have a single comb and the possible dark Cornish has a pea comb.
