Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

I have a red blue laced whyndott from Meyers that just started laying 3 weeks ago. Aaaaaannnnnddd now she is broody.......
That's ok I had 8 blue ameraucan eggs to put under her!!:)

She's a pretty girl. :). I ordered 1 Blue Cochin, 2 Lavendar Orpingtons, 1 Blue Laced Red Wyandotte, 1 Welsummer, 1 Black Sumatra. All females (fingers crossed!). I can't wait!
 
My son's first tooth finally came out after two weeks of being loose, the new tooth was growing behind it. Morgaine my BCM lost one of the frostbitten tips of her comb today. It looks so much better, I hope the other tips do the same and she gets back to laying. My husbands little Brahma chick however still has her egg tooth. I remember our first batch of six chicks all lost theirs around the third day. She's too busy being fabulous. I had no idea how adorable she would be, I see lots of Brahmas in our future.
 
Well my splash ameraucana Limabean has been laying for exactly one month. She lays my favorite egg. The prettiest blue. I found her trying to hatch two of those little eggs. I switched out some of the golf balls for other eggs. I think if she sticks with it, she'll be a good mom. She's the lowest on the pecking order, but she was standing her ground well.

@autumnhearth I totally agree with your opinion of the brahmas. I wish Meyer had them in more colors. I'd have them all. They are so fun to watch grow because they seem to change colors every day.
 
Our Meyer chicks come next week. Do they inform (call/email) you when they ship? Trying figure which day/days I may have to take off to be on call for the PO.

If Meyers emailed you your order confirmation then you should get an email saying they have shipped with a tracking #
I think you can have them text you as well.
The post office should call you as soon as they arrive. But I allways try to give them heads up when I hear that they are on the way. Explain to them that they are are shipped with no food or water so it would be helpful if they call as soon as possible.
My post office was great! I would get a call at 7:05 every time and then even though they were not open they would unlock the door for me to pick them up.

I'm pretty sure they mail most orders out on Mondays or maybe it was Mondays and Tuesdays. Either way they will email you. You can also log in and view your order to see if it has shipped. There is an option to sign up for a text when it ships. The USPS site also has an option for text updates. I highly recommend this! It will save you tons of time checking and rechecking for updates. ;) Good luck!
