These are my first chicks ever so I don't know how long they will take. I am really hoping for Tuesday since it's only 7 hours away but my MIL has mailed things and they have taken 2 days and she only lives 40 minutes away so I really don't know.
I have talked to the PO (so much I think they are really sick of me) and they will call the instant they come in. Even if it's 5:30 a.m. I figure I won't be able to sleep due to excitement anyway so they may as well call me! I also brought my PO workers brownies and mini muffins last week as an advance thank you! Although I give them treats a few times a year anyway because they help me with my eBay shipping throughout the year. But I just timed it to coincide with my chick delivery.

My brooder box is set up and I found a fine mesh/screen at Home depot to use as covering. I used velcro to hold it down on the sides.
I'm also using the Ecoglow because I heard such great things about it but have a red light for back up.
Hopefully this works for about 2 weeks and then I can move them to the garage in a much bigger box that I have. It's about 4 X 4 so that should hold the 15 of them for a few weeks more.

I will keep you posted!!!
