Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

It looks like somehow I lucked out and am 4 for 4 with my EE's from Meyer. Here are the two eggs from my new young EE's. They are both a light bluish green, one is a little more greenish and has speckles and one is more blue. I've been trying to catch them in the nest box and I finally caught both of them. Ellie yesterday and Greta today. Greta lays the more blue egg and Ellie the speckled. The camera just does not do the color justice, they seem much prettier in person.

Getting hit with 12-16 inches of snow today then it will range from 8-20 degrees the next 3-4 days. We've had more snow this year than the last 2 years combined and that was before this storm! Could it be because I got chickens????
I put some straw in the corner of the run to help keep them busy and warm. Most of the run is getting snow blown in so they're huddled in the corner. They must be wondering what all that white stuff is!
Also saw a fox watching them for the first time today. They were unfazed I'm thinking because it looks a bit like my Corgi with a tail! I have no

worries though. They are living in Fort Knox!!

You sure did!!! Gorgeous

Both of mine (I'm still assuming Izzy isn't laying right now because she doesn't squat anymore and her comb is still very light pink and BeeBee squats like crazy and I know she laid a green egg) are much more green than blue. But I'll take any color egg :)

I lost 7 out of 15 during shipping, but I called right away and Meyers was very good about it. The ones that survived are doing well. My barred rocks and RIR are very friendly. Not sure how many roosters I have, but I think I have at least one.

Your Corgi is so cute! We had a warm day yesterday and it was pretty warm today, but we're getting hit with the cold weather tomorrow and it is starting to drop now. We'll be in the teens the next few days. We're still much warmer in NC then you guys. I have a heated dog now! Saves me so much trouble now. I don't have to worry in the mornings anymore to run out and give unfrozen water.

Oh wow, 7? That's a lot. I lost 2 from my February shipment, well actually 3 since one died the next day. Meyer's is good about replacements though. Do any of them have comb development yet? If they do, unless they're leghorns, they could be roosters. I hope you have all girls though!

They are so cute!

The young girls are 25 weeks old now, so 6 months and a day. Here are pics of them.

Dottie - CW - She is not very noisy and does not squat, she's pretty skittish. I think she is laying now, I still have not determined what shade of brown she lays yet.

Blackie - BA - Not sure if she is laying yet, she is huge though and does a kind of quick squat and run. So far I have not seen her in the nest box. I did find an egg in the run, so it could be hers.

Sweet Greta - EE - She used to be really friendly as a chick and then got skittish, but now she is super friendly again and loves to be petted and hops on my lap. She is the one with a noddle type comb. I just love her black beard.

Ellie - EE- She is super friendly now too and is always squatting. I just love the EE's. I am getting more in the future for sure.

Splash - She is getting friendlier but no eggs yet. (Blue Andulasion) She is my high flyer tree hopper. She is probably pouting here since I blocked off the tree that she flies into.

Zany - CM - lays dark speckled eggs - friendliest of my 2 CM's

Izzie - Light Brown Leghorn - My first layer of the bunch- Large white eggs now

Sally - Salmon Faverolle - She is just the cutest and sweetest chicken and I love her funny look. She lays a creamy almost white egg.

Rocky - She and Sally are noisy, They are so loud, always screaming at me. She is laying now too. She still looks like a chick in the face to me. She does have unusual coloring for a Partridge Rock

Andi- She laid her first egg today. Cute little white one. Blue Andulasion She also managed to escape the garden somehow after I hung up extra bird netting. I have mixed feelings about the Andulasions and the Campines. I love them but wish they would stay where their supposed too.

Campi- My other fly away girl. I am not sure if she is laying or not. I think not yet. It is harder to tell the white eggs apart since you only have the shapes and not shades to figure out who is laying what. (Golden Campine) I think I have hung enough bird netting to keep her from flying away, but she'll figure out another way out I am sure.

Lacie - I love all the Wyandotte chickens, they are so sweet. Her feathers are softer to the touch then the other chickens. She is laying now too.

Ginger - Golden Buff and super egg layer. She was my meal maker. She is really sweet and lays large eggs already and everyday too.

Here is Cuckoo on the left my other CM. She is with my BR, Oreo and Zany her twin. She is actually a lot bigger then Zany and has less white in her. She is laying a dark speckled egg now too.

Buffy- Golden Buff Polish. I just love her look. She is much friendlier and will follow me everywhere. I just love her!

She surprised me yesterday by squatting. I was shocked. I thought they did not lay until they are a year? I guess all the other ones are doing it, so she wanted to join in. She has been super noisy lately too.

Mini - Light Brown Leghorn- she is laying now too. Both my leghorns do not squat for me but lay eggs.

and here is one last picture of Olivia, she is almost a year now:

Rocky looks like a Welsummer. Don't be to surprised about Buffy... I have already gotten 9 eggs since the 17th from just one of my polish!
