Meyer Hatchery Chicken pics anyone??

I didn't see bugs on mine for a long time. I did see eggs around the neck area on a couple a long time before I saw actual bugs. We dusted them twice and I thought we were good but then a couple months of wet weather later and I could see bugs. I hope it gets resolved, whatever it is!

Makes me nervous now. My hens have been locked up in their coop and run since I moved them and I won't be able to let them out until the city finishes their construction, plus it is wet and muddy. I hope those bugs stay away!

I hope for Nancy's sake though that it is not bugs and it is just something simple.

Thanks, you should get a few next time you order. The dominique is ornery but a steady layer and I do love the way the barring photographs. The sussex has changed her pattern since this pic. Every molt she looks a bit different plus she lays everyday too.

I had an order ship Monday- express. Tracking says it should have arrived yesterday. USPS has not updated tracking since it left Ohio. I called Meyer. They said not to worry- sometimes the post office does not update the web site... but I am worried. No updates since Monday evening? I am afraid they are lost...

My local post office is horrible. I've called. All I get is voice mail. I left a message yesterday afternoon...

KittyKorat, I've had the same thing happen where it never gets updated until I physically pick my chicks up and they scan the box before I open it. I hope everything turns out all right. Mine normally come in Wednesday and I'm only 3 hours drive from Meyer.

Priority express, and my last bunch I was called to pick them up Tuesday at around lunch time.

I am in Connecticut and I received mine mid-day Tuesday, as well, by Express mail. Regular Priority would have gotten them to me by 3 on Wednesday. I am really sorry for your wait and I hope you get the call soon!! Very nerve wracking!!

Still nothing. I checked my call logs and on my last order (March 17th ship date) I got a call on Tuesday the 18th at 11:13.

Can you go to the post office and tell them you're waiting for chicks and they should have been there yesterday... maybe they can call around for you to see
if they are stuck at another PO?
When possible I like to do things in person rather than by phone. Better response.
