And I always assume everyone on here is in their 20's and 30's and I'm 50! Although you knew you seemed to know who Zsa Zsa/Eva were and "Just Pat" and my son who is 20 and other one is 17 had no idea about those things.


Was that you that was getting the EE pullets? When is that?

Get this, mine decided to make the chickens a 10' by 4' sand/dust bath box. His idea! Of course they are digging a hole in an area of his grass that he worked hard to grow, but still. His idea. That is a first. Usually I am the one scheming to figure out how to get him to buy or do something I need done. This time there was no scheming involved. I even caught him digging up worms for the chickens and talking to them. Guess this chicken craze rubs off? Lucky to have him.

I am the one getting started EE pullets and they are arriving today!!!! I am so nervous about their travel. They left Polk at 11 am yesterday and will hopefully be at my post office before 11 this morning. I hope they bounce back quickly from their ordeal! I'll post pictures and let you know how they are.

They left Polk at 11 am yesterday and will hopefully be at my post office before 11 this morning. I hope they bounce back quickly from their ordeal! I'll post pictures and let you know how they are.

Now Nancy, you must be tricking us, I assumed you were in your late 30's to early 40's. Although 50 is still quite young too. Your son's are younger then mine so I guess that is what threw me off.

So excited! I went out this morning to feed my broody Butchy this morning and when she was eating at the nest she was clucking ALOT. I start listening and all I hear are little peeps peeping back!

They will be hatching soon!!!! I wish I had had my phone on me to take a video but was already late for work! I couldn't be any later than I was!
