You just don't know what is in the genetics of these birds. And that is not a bad thing as you can see I am enjoying the fact that Meyer did not sell me a real Jersey Giant. I doubt I would have this much fun IF they did. I am just now incubating some of my Birchen hen's eggs for the end of the season run. They are laying machines!

I am sorta like Doug. I rather give them to you in person. Not that I won't ever, I am just reluctant. And being that close you MAY like to go to a show somewhere inbetween and I will meet you their, and ofcourse I'll be showing a few birds too. Let me know what you are wanting and we can workout something down the line and set you up with some babies to play with. I just sold $270 worth of my layers quality grow outs to locals for egg production, but their picked out of less then half of what I have hatched so far. And a few are birds I had seller's remorse, which means prolly Exhibition quality.

Are you going to the state fair? I am doing a cheer competition in a couple weeks. I will be staying for a couple days!!

I am just looking for some differnt looking, really good egg layers. NO more roosters!!! anyways, is there anymore shows coming up your going too? And what are all the breeds you would sell?
