Meyer "Meal Maker" What breed did you get? Also Layer or Meat Bird??

Just put in my spring chick order from Meyer!! Wondering what other people have recieved as there Meyer Meal Maker???? Thanks for any replies in advance!!

I ordered from Meyer last summer. I ordered BBB turkeys and Cornish Crosses. The Turkeys were amazing; large, healthy and fast growers. The X's were small, slow to start and slow to grow. I haven't ordered any other birds, but for the money I will go with Cackle.

I cant personally speak for Meyer since I havent ordered from them before but Ive heard alot of good things. There is always someone who wont get the best of the best from every hatchery ya know? Glad your turks worked out for you. I ordered layers from them and most people who talk of there layers from Meyer have had good results. Ive used MMM in the past but was unhappy with there stock. Hoping the best from Meyer.

I have 7 Meyer chicks in my brooder right now. I chose not to order their Meal Maker, as I can't have Roos and they won't give you a choice. I may decide differently in the future.

Really? They told me if you order layers they give you a layer, and if you order meat birds than its kinda up in the air then what you get. I was told because i ordered layers I would recieve another layer as well for my "Meal Maker" What chicks did you order

Perhaps I misunderstood her when I asked. I have a EE, a buff orp, a barred Rick, a BLRW, a white jersey giant, a BA, and a buff brahma. Have ordered for April a Welsummer and a white sultan.

Humm ya i dont know.. I would ask for your order in April..as long as you have the room for another chicken why not right?? Im cool with a free chicken and i like the idea of donating the eggs somewhere,that is what the whole 'Meal Maker' thing is about anyway.

I just ordered 15 Dominique hens from Meyer, they said I would get a hen but could be a diff kind..... It's my first time ordering, so I'll find out the last week of February.
