I've always been a sucker for redheads but I think my boys would prefer the BR as well. We were picking apples last weekend and went to visit the chickens and they were all pretty mad at me that we don't have a striped chicken. Yet. I showed them the goats we also don't have. Yet. Can't wait to see who shows up tomorrow!

I like RIRs the best of those 2... Lol. But the boys are mean little suckers. I love the girlies. Can't wait to see! I'll be anxiously awaiting pics.

I ordered 3 of their blue black splash orpingtons. And some added easter eggers for a friend.
really excited to see what colors of orpington i will recieve.
2 weeks ago i got chicks from meyer as well.
a lavender orpington, 2 of their blue/black/splash ameraucana. And 2 australorps.

I have Hoover's Rainbows - all of which look like a mix between an NH Red and a Buff Orp, mostly favoring the Red. That's close enough to know I don't want more of them.

Will hope you get a Barred Rock as well then!

BRs and cuckoo marans look very similar as chicks, but marans have pink, feathered legs.
