Hi,

So I have a 6 week old flock and the hatchery had all sexed female at day one (I know it’s extremely difficult to sex bantams and/or sexing isn’t 100%). Im pretty confident my MF d’uccle isn’t a female because of the comb. Any thoughts??

Thanks!

Too early to tell for me. I thought one of my hens was a cockerel for the same reason when she was a pullet. As a hen she still has the most pronounced comb and wattles of my girls, is good at making a racket and dominating the others, but produces some nice little eggs.
