My broody hen just hatched two chicks. Out of the two roosters that have access to my Splash Orp hens is a Mille Fleur d'Uccle Bantam and a LF Black Orpington. The chicks have feathers on their legs and feet so I have to assume the Bantam fertilized the eggs. So now I have a cross. I had no idea he was even able to get the job done to begin with due to the size difference, but he did. So has anyone else ever had this cross before? What do you think will happen if the Bantam roo eventually mates with the cross breeds just hatched?
