If you do a certified vet, take one chicken in for a "culture and sensitivity" (C&S), and consider sacrificing the bird for a necropsy to send off for testing at a lab.
A culture and sensitivity is where they take a swab of the bird's mucous membranes and exudates. They send the swab off and grow the bacteria so that they can identify exactly what bacteria it is (including M. gallispepticum, etc). Then they grow it again on another plate that shows them exactly which antibiotics do and do no work.
The results are that no matter what the bacteria, you know exactly what it is and exactly what treats it. It costs around 60-70 dollars for the test if I remember correctly, plus the exam. But it's way less expensive that treating or losing 100+ chickens, losing your investment, and having possibly contaminated grounds. It's worth every cent whichever of the two options you choose.
With that many chickens, you MUST test.
