Can't really see the MHP....why is it in a box?

Because they are in an open air coop. There is a lot of wind right now, the box is a for a little extra wind protection in our very strange weather pattern.
I will probably take the box down later this week when the system moves out.

Or put the cardboard around the outside of that crate?

That would block the other chickens view, eliminating the see/no touch part of the design.

Yep I will leave it as is until this storm moves through & then move the box out and give them more hopping space.
