do you enclose your heat pad in plastic wrap and you do not have any issues with the heat pad slipping out of the bungies? I normally use a red heat lamp but I am converting to a heat pad.

There is a piece of 6mil plastic between the cardboard and the rack,
just in case and juicy poops soak thru cardboard they won't damage the pad.
Mini Bungies have worked well for several batches of chicks so far.
