Mice/Rats! The hunt is ON!

The Just One Bite is strong enough to kill the rodent. Unless your dog, cat or chicken eat a lot of rodents, you shouldn't have to worry. The bait is designed to kill small animals & the strength is designed for small animals. Its the same concept as when the vet knocks your dog or cat out for surgery, they have to weigh the animal to make sure they get the exact dosage, too much & it could kill, too little & the animal could wake up during surgery. The only way your non-target (dog/cat/chicken/etc) animal will die is if they eat a ton of poisoned rodents or if they happen to eat the entire bait bar (or 2 depending on the size of the dog).

You may want to talk to whomever is selling the bait or do some research on antidotes for the bait in case non-target critters do get some. The bait I use affects the amount of vitamin K in the system. The guy who gave me the bait said I needed to get my critters a shot of Vit K to counter-act the poison. He also explained symptoms of poisoning in my animals. I've had the poison for almost a year now, found several dead mice in the yard (with free-range chickens), I do clean up the dead mouse asap, and haven't seen any signs of poisoning with any of my animals (small dog & four chickens). Just do some research about the poison if you are really concerned.
