My rooster caught a mouse, me and six hens could not get it away from him. will it hurt him to eat the mouse? no poison anywhere around, Thanks, Phil

It won’t hurt him at all. Chickens catch and eat mice all of the time.

There is a reason the six hens were also trying to get it. Chickens are omnivores and eat meat as well as plants.
