I’ve got a family of mice that have moved in under the coop and chewed a hole through the floor boards.
What have you found works best for mouse control?
Have any of you found cats helpful for maintenance after getting rid of the problem?

Well.... inside our coop, if the mice came out they didn’t last long. By the time I could get there, all that was left was The end of a tail hanging out of the beak. 🤢

I think cats can be a good rodent control, but not every cat is a mouser.

Stop feeding the rodents and they will leave. Bulk feed in a steel barrow, chickens eat out of a properly designed treadle feeder that doesn't have to be blocked open for training and no plastic parts on the feeder!
