Here's my chicken math
We got four jersey giants chicks then a few days later added two buff Orpington chicks our friend gave us a rooster he was sweet with me but wasn't good with little kids and he hurt the hens so I rehomed him the lady saw I was sad and gave me two calico Cochins and one frizzle Cochin which she hatched herself then I few days later I got 4 silkie chicks!!! Hahah altogether 13 chickens the jersey giants and buff Orpingtons were raised last year and the others I'm raising now here are all my chickens names Blossom Jessie Lily Marigold Hope Daffy who's real name is Daffodil we just nicknamed her Daffy Amelia violet Nat Nat Belle Leia Evelyn and tilda the rooster I rehomed was named knight he was a light brahma!

That's so funny. This is our first time with with chickens, and I am loving how much we can relate with other chicken owners already. Learning about chicken math is super hilarious, and I love sharing names. Naming the chicks is special and personal and just really makes having chicks that much better.

Oh my they got so big!!!! My one batch of chicks is now eight weeks and the other is five weeks they grow sooooo fast!!! How many weeks are they now?

I think about 6 weeks. I have others that just turned 8 weeks.
