For those of you bringing chicks to sell, approximately how old will they be in June? Trying to do some planning.

I should have a variety of ages including day olds to young adults. I have birds hatching every week from the middle of February all the way until the beginning of September.

If you are wanting older chicks, I can try hatching some out earlier. Otherwise they will be just a couple days old.

If anyone is interested in the breeds I have please pm me for an order. I don't want to hatch if no one wants any. If I don't get any orders then I won't be bringing any.

I'd prefer younger ones but will settle for what I have to chose from when the time comes. I'm just making sure a head of time, that what ever I buy I have the proper equipment and space for them. I guess the best bet is to be prepared completely all around. My DH rolled his eyes when I told him he might have to build an addition on the coop!! lol

What do barnyard mixes consist of??? A little of this one or that one?

Barnyard mixes for me consists of different breeds of what I have mixed together like my egg laying flock. I have a couple BAs, RIRs, EEs, Polish, RSLs, BOs, WOs, NNs, and a few NHs. They give me eggs of different colors and get very pretty mutts from their eggs.
Good if you don't mind the breed and want some good uniquely colored layers.

Oh boy I found the thread!
I will have Silkies, Showgirls and Speckled Sussex for sale...variety of ages and colors!
I will also have English Spot, English lop and possibly an adorable little Belgian Hare for Olive if she shows up
I will have Rabbit/chicken nest boxes for sale and probably a few other little things here and there!
