Michigan Chickenstock!!! Lansing area, August 1!!!

You'll all love Opa! He's a super-neat guy, and so is his GF, Hope!

I heard from Steve; he's going to try to make it w/his DW, and will let us know for sure when it gets closer, I think.

I think at least me and my daughter can come. Lansing isn't too far from us. I'm not sure if Doug( DH) will be here or out of the country in August. I'm not sure what I can bring yet, but I'll see what I can whip up

So what is the list for the potluck looking like? My wife makes an absolutely fantabulous macaroni salad, I could bake some of the pirated recipes from MJ, or....... Does the park there have stationary BBQ charcoal grills?

Some quailies..........

I have no idea yet what I'll be bringing. I'm still going thru boxes of books trying to find where I packed my recipe stuff

I've narrowed it down at least.

Quail is actually one of the few things I have not tried yet. At least I don't think I have. I've been to other countries, but sometimes they aren't completely honest at what they are feeding you

Good morning, folks! We need Chickflick to weigh in on the grill situation at the park. I was planning on bringing hot dogs & buns - could someone else bring condiments?

Thanks, Vicki!

As we get more folks committing to items for the potluck, I'll start a list on the initial post so we don't have to scroll all the way through each post to know what folks will be bringing.

As long as we're chatting about what we're bringing...do any of y'all have any "Delahorn" (Delaware X Leghorn) pullets they're willing to part with? I checked with Miss_Jayne, who does not - but I think she got them from someone else...
