I am new to this site, and this will be my first winter with chickens. I cam across a thread where someone mentioned choosing breeds that do well in your climate.
So here is my dumb question, What breeds wwould do well in a Michigan climate, and any breed advocates want to tell me more about their fav. breed? My chickens are my hobby, and I would like to get 5-10 more since I have the space, but need something a bit hardy, and a lot cute.
FYI: I currentley have silkies, a black austolap and a red mutt, I
bantams and anything fuzzy. (I'm a girl, it's allowed)
