If it is ondura, the warranty claims life time, but they won't cover much, no labor and the paint, you may be lucky if it lasts 8-10 years..on the bright side, they'd be happy to sell you more paint which is very expensive.. I would strongly suggest you go with an architectural shingle, they're 30 yr warranty and very forgiving to install. I personally would not recommend Ondura for any kind of structure you want to keep long term.
I take it that you have experience with this product. I was thinking about using it on the roof of the coop too. Does it just get brittle and start breaking or what?

Candled my eggs last night. Took 11 our of the incubator. 5 clears, 6 blood rings.

I left one in there that I'm pretty iffy about, and I couldn't see through the marans eggs well enough to make the call. I've got a 200 lumens flashlight coming that should be here by Tuesday, so hopefully that will help. I'm pretty disappointed. I know shipped eggs are a gamble, and I still have over half of them left, but 10 of the 11 were my blrw eggs.

Soooo....depending on how you look at it, I'm down to my 'extras' for those now.
I just candled my blue maran eggs that I bought off of eBay. I've bought from this person before and had 100% hatch. This time out of 12 eggs, I had 4 that weren't even fertile, 1 with blood ring after 6 days, 1 just not developing right and 6 that I've had in the bator until today when one of the old hens went broodie a couple days ago. I took her 5 fresh eggs out from under her and have her 6 pretty brown ones. She is happy. She better stay there to as these eggs are at day 14.

Anyway, here's what I did today. It's the first broom I've ever made. I grow broom corn and have been collecting the tops for a few years now but haven't gotten around to trying the art of broom-making until today. I'm happy with it, though it's definitely far from perfect. It still needs a tie so I can hang it. The cat will chew it to bits if I leave it within his reach. Now I can check off broom-making from my bucket list.

That is so cool. You take it off your bucket list and now I put it on mine.

The temptation to use something easy is not always good in the long run. I personally do not like that product. If the project is small you may want to search craigslist for left over shingles from a jobsite. 3 bundles will cover aprox. 100 sqft. Felt is cheap but you may find that also as left over stock. Or, most of the box stores have discontinued, open, or other lots they unload cheap. The Restores (Habitat for Humanity) also have a plethora of used and left over building supplies.

I have not had time to read yesterday's posts. My son ended up first in his showmanship class. His Calico Cochin took Reserve Grand Champion of the barn. ... he was beat out by a Peking duck. Ducks!

He had a good day and all his animals got blue ribbons. The funny thing of the day was my son, 3 nieces, nephews and 2 friends rode rides all afternoon.... with my dad. My dad just had his 70th birthday this year. They all thought it was great grandpa did all the rides with them, there was nothing he wouldn't go on but a few they wouldn't.

Have a great - hot - day. I'll will try and catch up with you later.
