Yep. My first name is Elizabeth.As a kid I was called Beth (Ann) (depends if I was in trouble or not - lol) a few teachers called me Liz or lizzy. And as an adult I get called Elizabeth as well as Lizzy, Liz, Beth, and Lizabeth. I respond to whichever anyone prefers. Except Beth Ann, because that means I'm in trouble! Lol

It's got to be stressful to feel such a heavy burden of responsibility.

NO! They are fine! I am just out of town for work & DH is out of town for work..this is my first time gone since I got them. We have a VERY reliable friend staying at the house to take care of all the critters.

I get home around midnite Friday; home 8 days THEN have to leave again for TWO weeks!

I just miss them...WHO'DVE THUNK?? Chickens? "Miss them"? REALLY? Everyone here thinks I am nuts ...

WHEWIE!!!!! I went back in the posts a bit and didn't see anything and was hoping it wasn't something horrible.

You are so NOT crazy! My hubby doesn't understand chicken fever and anything else that goes with it. It's so hard to explain to someone who doesn't have them what it's like. They are just awesome, no doubt about it. I could literally spend the entire day outside working with all my birds cleaning coops, etc. and still not say a bad word about them.

My nickname growing up was Lizard (from my uncle). Aunt calls me Lizzy. I don't mind either.
