Morning Everyone,
Happy B-day OPa, hope it was a good one! I'm sending thoughts & prayers to all affected by the fire.....firemen too!

Well I am now the owner of 4 Roosters! 3 out of the 6 rescue chickens I got this fall are Roosters, plus the bantam I all ready had. So I have my little Bantam Roo, the Silver Laced Roo and 2 generic Rhode Island Red Roos. Lucky me! After having them for a few weeks my observations and knowledge made my suspicions grow. I just keep telling myself they are a barnyard, genetically mixed looking bird! I wasn't in denial....just hoping. lol Our neighbors are gonna REALLY hate us now, they already have stated their despise of me & my chickens numerous times. What can I say? It's quite common and happens!

26 days since we last had a rooster and we have fertile eggs! When will they stop being fertile? Maybe I can get a bator by then...
