Michigan Thread - all are welcome!

The one I got was from the pullet bin :)

I did order from Townline today (I will pick up) and found out that the Welsummers are not sexed. Turns out Townline feather sexes and what they have is either (obviously) sex-linked, feather-sexed, or just sold as straight run. The Welsummers cannot be feather-sexed and they don't have a vent-sexer.

I did order three for pickup in two weeks; I'm trying to decide if I really want them and take a chance on roos (I have four and that's enough) or order from somewhere else as I still want some cochin hens.

Mutt we have a self cleaning iron remover, no need for specil sall

Has finally reared it's ugly head. Severe pain, fever and it's the weekend! Hope you have a good tribome.

You feel better too Silly!

:) I don't know if they will, but I can ask. I'm sure I'm just a small order in a big amount. The other option is to wait for them to appear at FF or TSC and get them then like I am with the EEers.

@JackieandChicks
Welsumers are very easy to sex. The girls have a very dark defined v on thier head the boys its is not well defined and not as dark. Google it you should find a picture with a girl and boy chick its easy to see. I am kind of suprised townline dosent have a vent sexer though. Well you learn something new everyday.

I'm finally done with a fevery sinusy thing that has been going around over here; I was drinking the tazo tea "rest" especially at night since most of the ingredients are antiseptic or high in vitamin c; plus the heat kinda felt good all around :) Other than that i was taking a "stress vitamin" which is super high in the b's, which kinda kept me going but didn't improve brain function, LOL

Only other addage i have towards health is for sinus infection if you can get to an herbal store "collodial silver" will cure it; i had a lady at work who couldn't get to a dr so i gave her some and she was better in 3 days. :) She still went to the dr, but all was well supposably. There is the drip bottle and should be a nasal spray bottle; i always get the spray one so if i get hit with flu instead i can still use it (so many squirts under the tongue). Worked on all of them but the "swine flu". Pricey at $15 a bottle, but it'll last all year. Don't work for colds, though.
