@gladahmae How are you poking your holes into the bottom? Last year I heated a screwdriver on my gas stove, then poked it thru. Tried that again this year and it didn't go as easily as I remembered as before.

I just used the serrated knife I use to cut around the jug. This year I'm putting horizontal slits on the sides near the bottom instead of on the actual bottom since I had a lot of drainage issues/bottom freezing last year. I've got a lot of cottage cheese and yogurt containers I'm going to use this year for more specific plants (might try some heirloom tomatoes) and do "hunk o seedlings" for flowers. I do the cell flats for my veggies in the end of April depending on the weather.

After hearing the updated forecast I decided that today would be a better day to take my old friend shopping rather tomorrow as originally planned. From the number of folks shopping I think we have a blizzard coming.

I'll be in GC Wednesday. Will you have any syrup ready? I'll be glad to take one of the 50 gal drums full off your hands!

You are welcome to stop by for coffee. That's about all I can offer. I have no syrup or honey. I might have a couple of empty barrels on hand.

However, I am offering a special discount on fresh snow. Buy 1 get 2 free. Hurry before the Eskimos get here.
