No way. Too darn hot out there. I'm staying inside with the AC on.Go out and enjoy the weather!
Rabbits birth 29-32 days after you-know-what. An open top box with a front lip about an inch tall. Sides/back can be 6-12 inches. Just guage the overall size on momma and add a little space. Not to big. Fill with straw/hay...keep momma separate from all other rabbits before and after she births. Don't give out babies until they are 8-10 weeks old. They stay with momma all that time. Basic idea. Everyone has a way but I've followed this approach and never lose a kit except when momma wants it to be "lost". Momma knows best.So sorry, Fuzzy! You did more than most... It's still hard...![]()
Oh, yeah, sheep in sweats! lol You win my dying devotion!![]()
John, no, but I might have some for you! lol Can you give me a crash course on bunnies and babies? Have no idea if she's pregnant and if so, when she is due. What do I need to do? Wasn't planning on this! Shoud I keep her separated from the other bunny till after the babies are old enough, or can they get to know each other thru fencing ... What kind of box does she need? Open, covered? Help!
