Hee hee, chickflick, it is quiet here, isn't it?

It is NOT quiet in my backyard. Our Australorp is squawking like a maniac today. I went out to make sure there wasn't an issue, and they're all safe and sound, with no visible danger around. She's like an alarm on snooze, though. Loud and annoying. I put a cucumber in the suet feeder hoping to distract her from her task, but she's not interested. Apparently she's sticking with her "to-do" list.

Curled up somewhere warm most likely. I'm debating on turning the heat back on here. Too early in the year for that bullpucky! Really wish I had a little wood stove in here.

The temps dropped and I am huddling around a mug of cocoa and a tiny kitten who just had her bath. It's chilly in here and I REFUSE to turn the heat on yet (the spinster I am)

I have 2 white female call ducks in a pen with a male and female mandarin. Anyone have a male call (preferably white) that they are looking to get rid of? I'm from Caledonia, just south of Grand Rapids. I'll be travelling to Lansing next Saturday if anyone out that way has one. Thank you.

we have a young broody mama - sitting on 3 ~4 eggs . . . . . so if anyone gonna want a few chicks due around oct 2nd, let me know. they are EE & Delaware/EE . would meet in Lansing area to deliver. (assuming she doesnt abandon them in the next 21 days)

I will be going. I would of liked to enter, but I want to see a few more shoes before I enter my own birds.

Are birds required to stay a whole week at the show? The last show I went to I heard the birds had to stay a whole week.

Hi, chick flick

Been out stacking wood as DH splits it, got the coop cleaned out today, roosts and poop boards washed with bleach water, dried and back in a clean coop.
almost had more feathers then bedding from all the molting going on
