Welcome, I have one NH she is beautiful, and very broody, you can mix chicks if they are close in age, maybe 2 weeks at most, so the young ones don't pick on the olders. if you get them from the same place, is best, ...they are so sweet,What do you mean by split hatches? I am new to raising chickens, just recieved our first delivery of 5 Hew Hampshire Red Pullets and am considering getting some more already. I am just wondering if it is ok to integrate chicks of varying ages into the same brooder. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
good luck with your trip to Boston, are you driving or flying? prayers for your dad,for a successful surgery and quick recoveryWell while Silly is out in fruit, nuts, and flakes land enjoying the scenic drive (LOL), we are getting more snow. New England is getting hammered again. I leave next Wednesday to Boston for my Dad's heart surgery. Come on warm weather!
Prayers for your Dad's surgery and for a safe trip to and from Boston. well importing to the united states requires a whole lot more process as it goes thru customs...and the bird you bring over is going to cost you thousands...just keep this in mind...i believe when certain people brought the cemani over they were well above ten thousand...i believe dont quote me on this...just what certain cemani breeders have statedThat's all. I am doing a layover in france this sumer have some friends there I am going to have them track downs some fbcm yeah boy....
i will be importing them from one state to this state...not from out of the country as you cannot with the current ban....the paperwork will be at the breeders house next week sometime....and then we are going from there...as for the pies...they are doing great i dont ever seem them on the roost which is weird..to meWhere do you get the earthborn?
Did you import the cerami's (sp)? How many are you getting? How are the pied peas doing?
all my birds are a mix....the green/blue eggs you will have a 66 percent chance of getting an ee...however i do have a barred rock in with them as well....how many eggs would you like...you can take them for 3 bucks a dozen...just pay for all the materials being used and the shipping...That's awesome, how much would you sell fertile eggs for?
What kind of chicken is that, I have never seen one quite like it before!
